Roots of Unity Media is a multi-media production company focused on advancing science, women, and people of color through impact media. We create narrative and documentary films and produce multi-media campaigns for companies and movements working towards a sustainable and equitable society.  We create our own content in addition to working with organizations, companies, and movements.

Our small but passionate team writes and produces its own content including feature documentary and narrative films and series that we hope will help change the narrative to better reflect science, women, and people of color. Our current projects in the works include a feature documentary about a community in Puerto Rico developing their own sustainable economy and solar microgrid, a feature narrative film about a Venezuelan political asylee finding his way to the top of the US music scene, and a National Geographic funded docu-series recounting the stories of climate migrants around the world.
